Cameroon will soon benefit from an up to date International Urbanisation Centre based in Yaounde.
The information was revealed during a press conference convened last November 28, 2017 by the Minister of town planning and urban development Jean Claude Mbwentchou.
While revealing the information he decried that any move made by the government to professionalise urban studies in the country had failed, ” that was the case with the National Advance School of Engineering of Yaounde”.
That’s why the International Urbanisation Centre based in Yaounde will permit students from varied countries to be drilled and trained by experts and professionals on both town planning and urbanisation techniques.
Its worth noting that more information concerning the construction of the centre will be revealed during the ICCASU 2, an international conference on urbanisation due to hold in Yaounde from December 12 to December 14, 2017 at the Conference Center.
The International Conference on Canadian Chinese and Africa Sustainable Urbanization (ICCASU) is an initiative powered by Canadian University lecturers concerned by issues relating to urbanization in Canada.
The importance of their reflections triggered admiration from developing countries who massively attended the first ever ICCASU 1 conference organised in Canada in 2015.
