Some 25 local players have been shortlisted to enter a training camp in Yaounde.

The list was made public on Wednesday November 29 by the head coach of the Amateur national football selection of Cameroon, Lions A’, Rigobert Song during a Press Conference at the headquarters of the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT.

These players are expected to enter their last training camp in Yaounde ahead of the 2018 African Nations Championship, CHAN. This list will be reduced to 23 players who will represent Cameroon in the tournament.

The list is composed of four players from Union of Douala, four from UMS of Loum and other Ligue 1 clubs.

The tournament was initially scheduled for Kenya but will be held in Morocco from January 11 to February 2, 2018 and it will see some sixteen nations including the host country competing for the trophy.
