A series of reasons are set forth by the Fecafoot top management to explain the sacking of Hugo Bross as head coach of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

The information is contained in a press release signed this Monday December 4 2017, by Dieudonné Happi, President of the Normalization Committee of the Cameroon Football Federation FECAFOOT.

According to the release, we learn that Hugo Bross failed to respect a series of rules as determined in the contract signed with the football body. “Mr. Bross failed to win a qualification for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, failed to put Cameroon first on the CAF Ranking, failed to respect his obligation to reside in Cameroon throughout the execution of his contract”.

The decision was unanimously approved by all the members making up the FECAFOOT normalization committee, even though Hugo Bross’ contract was due to come to an end this February 2018.
