Members of the Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly have validated a very vital stage of works towards the adoption of the 2018 state budget.
This follows the defending of the various ministerial budgets by the 34 government cabinet ministers.
The passages wrapped up this Tuesday December 5, at the new committee room of the National Assembly when the Minister delegate at the Ministry of External Relations in charge of relations with the commonwealth, H.E Dion Ngute Joseph defended the draft budget of his ministry.
He stated the Ministry’s main objectives for 2018; boosting bilateral cooperation potentials, boosting and rationalizing multilateral and decentralized cooperation, the management of Cameroonians living abroad and governance and institutional support.
All is now set for the National Assembly to defend its own budget this Wednesday December 6, 2017, thereafter the Minister of Finance, Alamine Ousman Mey will be called upon to defend the draft state budget for the 2018 financial year.
