The SDF party has stated that they will keep up the fight for a federal republic of Cameroon.
This was the major outcome of a press briefing organized by the Social Democratic Front, SDF party on Wednesday December 13, at the party’s Secretariat at the Olezoa neighborhood in Yaoundé.
The press briefing aimed at reviewing a resumé of the just ended parliamentary session, the latest development of the Anglophone crisis and the party’s next plan of action.
Speaking to the press, the National Secretary General of the SDF party Senator Jean Tsemolou announced that the MPs and Senators will meet with the people to sensitize them on the ongoing crisis.
According to the Secretary General and the party’s MPs and Senators present at the press briefing, this will go a long way to adopt a plan of work ahead of the next parliamentary session which comes up in March 2018.
Moreover, the party says it works on two main points, towards a dialogue with the Head of State on the Anglophone Crisis and the general wellbeing of the people the party’s MPs and Senators who represent the people.
On behalf of the party, the Secretary General extended their condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the course of the Anglophone crisis.
