CFAF 2 Billion is the overall cost of the renovation of the official house of the Senate President Marcel Niat Njifenji.

The information is revealed by the National Weekly The Post in its Friday December 15, 2017 edition “as poverty ravages Cameroonians, Senate President gets CFAF 2 billion for house repairs”.

Since his election as Senator in 2013, the 83 years President of the Senate was residing in his Yaounde neighborhood at Valle Nlongkak.

Even though he from time to time headed to Bagangte (his native village) the Senate President will hence be much more stable in Yaounde as his new resident found beside the ENAM neighborhood was handed to him some few weeks back.

The said renovated house which cost some CFAF 2 Billion to the State Treasury was inaugurated yesterday by State Ministers, MPs and government officials.
