The President of the Republic of Cameroon has extended condolences to families of the three security officials killed last February 11, 2018 in Kembong a locality situated in the Manyu Division of the South West region of Cameroon.
The information contained in a press release signed by Joseph Beti Assomo Minister Delegate In Charge of Defense and rendered public this Monday February 12, confirms that “Mareshall De Logie Chef, Colian Dominique, gendarme Nomo Avodo, and élève gendarme Ngwa clovis” were cold bloodedly assassinated by secessionist, fighting for the independence of the fictive “Ambazonia” State.
Minister Joseph Beti Assomo reiterated that Cameroons defense and security forces will remain steadfast in the battle to restore the peace and security in all the regions of the country.
The Separatists had started campaigning on social media, against the participation of Cameroon’s English speaking regions in this year’s youth day activities.
Menaces from a group of secessionist seemed to have made some students and other participants to hesitate in taking part in the February 11 event.
