The Embassy of Israel in Partnership with the Group Atelier 4 will this Wednesday 24 th May 2017 present an Israeli Theatre Play entitled: “Best Friends”

The play which is authored by the late Israeli play writer Anath Gov, shall be staged at 7p.m. at a Theatre presentation at Nouvelle Route Bastos, Yaounde.

“Best Friends”, relates the story of three Women ( Sophie, Tirzah and Lelly) who grew from childhood to adulthood in Isreal. An intimate friendship that lasted for thirty years, full of humour, sadness, love and hate.

The event which is opened to the General public is expected to bring together actors.

The evening is an inntiative of the Israeli Ambassador to Cameroon, Ran Gidor in partnership with the Cameroon Ministry of Culture.

The Ambassador hopes bilateral ties between Cameroon and Isreal
in the Socio Cultural domain will be further reinforced.

This theatre is second after one organised in November 2016 when the Embassy of Isreal in partnership with the Cameroon Theatre group “NGOTI” for the first time staged the renowned Israeli play: “Ulysses in Gaza.” Organised at the Cameroon Cultural Centre.
