The fire incident at the national assembly destroyed just the upper part of an administrative building close to the main parliamentary hall.
There are a little close to four administrative buildings at the level of the national assembly including the main hall used for parliamentary sessions.
The said parliamentary hall is used by members of parliament of the lower house of the assembly to vote bills each time there is a plenary sitting. This main hall has therefore suffered from any damage.
