The 250 migrants who landed in Cameroon this Tuesday November 21, 2017 at the International Airport of Yaoundé, Nsimalen received a financial support of more than 16 Million FCFA from the government.

According to CRTV, these migrants who voluntarily agreed to return back to their Country will equally receive social assistance from the government to facilitate their return back home.

Cameroon News Today-CNT learned that these Cameroonian migrants desperately tried to go across the Algerian border in vain and realizing that there was no possibility to move forward, they finally accepted to return to their country and start anew with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The IOM is an intergovernmental organization that provides services and advice concerning migration to governments and migrants, including internally displaced persons, refugees, and migrant workers.
